Newberry County Delinquent Tax Sale will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 10:00AM at a place to be determined

PRE-REGISTRATION will be open from 10/16/24 through 11/1/24 for in-person registration at the Delinquent Tax Office located at 1512 Martin St., Newberry.  

PRE-REGISTRATION may also be completed by email to wwise@newberrycounty.gov by providing the bidder company/name, mailing address, and phone number along with a copy of the photo ID of the person who will be bidding at the sale.  Signature will be required onsite.

Registration will also be accepted on 11/4/24 at the sale location.

The properties will be advertised for three consecutive weeks prior to the sale in The Newberry Observer.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Delinquent Tax Collector's Office is to pursue all legal avenues available that will provide for the collection of delinquent taxes in Newberry County, to submit all bankruptcy claims to the United States Bankruptcy Courts, and to file claims with the Probate Court.

Newberry County Delinquent Tax Sale

The Newberry County Delinquent Tax Sale is scheduled to be held on November 4, 2024. 

Pre-registration will be offered beginning October 16, 2024. Please contact the office for more information.

**The Newberry County Delinquent Tax Collector's Office contracts with American Financial Credit Services, Inc. (AFCS) to collect certain personal property taxes for the county.  If your delinquent taxes are placed with AFCS, you will no longer be able to pay those bills or subsequent bills with Newberry County until these bills have been paid through AFCS; you will be required to pay the fee that AFCS charges on top of what is due to Newberry County.
