Airport Info

Newberry County Airport was built in 1946 and consisted of two grass runways. We have a new asphalt runwaywhich was constructed October 2008 that is 4,000 feet long and 75 feet wide.

The field has a 65 foot, rotating beacon and a lighted windsock, which operates from dusk to dark. The runway and taxiway lights are activated by keying the radio frequency (122.8) five times.

Avgas (100LL) is also available 24 hrs per day by major credit card.

We have 14 based aircraft hangered. At present time, there are no available hangers. We do have 5 tie downs available.

Current approaches is VFR only.
